DRES Accommodations

Upload your DRES LOA Here

Please note that the CBTF staff is unable to add DRES accommodations during an exam. It is imperative that accommodations are uploaded a minimum of 5 business days prior to the scheduled exam.

In case of failure to submit a Leave of Accommodations (LOA) within the designated time frame, students will need to request an extension from their course staff or take the exam without their accommodations.

The CBTF strives to accommodate all students and offers accommodations as outlined by Disability Resources and Educational Services (DRES). In situations where a particular DRES accommodation cannot be provided, we will collaborate with you, your professor, and your Access Specialist to identify the most suitable alternative.

The CBTF supports the following accommodations:

Students sit at computer desks with dividers between them.
Reduced distraction seating at our Siebel CS lab.

If you have accommodations identified by the Disability Resources and Educational Services (DRES) for exams, please submit it using the form linked below.

  • A proctor will assist in updating your CBTF profile, which is a one-time per-semester requirement that applies to all CBTF courses. It is advisable to complete this process well in advance of your initial exam.
  • Please note that profile updates do not retroactively impact any previous reservations. If you made a reservation prior to updating your profile to reflect your accommodations accurately, it is essential to modify the reservation to ensure the correct display of your accommodations.

To remove your DRES accommodations from the CBTF, please email cbtf@illinois.edu. Please allow up to 2 business days for the removal process. Deleting your accommodations will not impact current reservations. If needed in the future, you can add testing accommodations using the linked form, which may take up to 5 business days to process.
