  • be reliable, punctual, and engaged
  • demonstrate maturity
  • be a responsible authority figure
  • have keen attention to detail
  • have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations and while addressing student concerns

What to Expect After Applying

Unfortunately, you may not hear back from us, and not because you aren't a good applicant. When we hire, we are usually looking for 10-25 proctors. We routinely get well over 100 applicants each time we post the position. As you can imagine, this is an overwhelming number to sift through, and we can't possibly interview everyone who applies, even if we'd like to! So, please don't feel discouraged if we don't contact you for an interview. It's tough to get hired, and oftentimes you just have to keep trying.
